Flowergirl: Dande-lioness


Well this is my latest piece Flowergirl - Dandelioness part 1 of a 6 set series I am attempting at the moment. I eventually will paint these on canvas. I am trying to portray the woman as fragile yet vibrant, ethereal and brave especially given the number of sexual assaults in Brisbane in the last 2 years. We are beautiful and in most instances weaker in strength but we are strong and will keep fighting back at these creatures that call themselves men. We may seem like easy pray but DO NOT underestimate us we have the courage and strength of the lioness who will fight to protect herself and her young from marauding predators.
